Introduction: Hospital Administration Manager Job at Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society, Swami Vivekanand Health Mission Society (SVHMS) is a commendable non-profit organization that was established in 2012 by a group of passionate young doctors and philanthropists. Their primary mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to humanity.
The society embarked on its journey by setting up a small dispensary in Dharmawala, a village located in Uttarakhand, known for its tribal population and its proximity to Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. With an unwavering commitment to delivering quality healthcare to the underprivileged, tribal communities, pilgrims, and those in need, SVHMS gradually expanded its operations. They transformed the modest dispensary in Dharmawala into a comprehensive multi-specialty hospital and continued to establish hospitals in various phases.
Driven by their vision and mission, SVHMS extended its charitable initiatives to three of the Char Dhams, namely Shri Badrinath Dham, Shri Kedarnath Dham, and Gangotri Dham in Uttarakhand. These hospitals are fully equipped with ICU facilities and staff trained to handle the challenges of high-altitude healthcare. Previously, the lack of quality healthcare facilities at these revered pilgrimage sites posed significant health risks for visitors from around the world. However, the establishment of the society’s hospitals drastically reduced the rates of morbidity and mortality, benefiting countless pilgrims. Presently, SVHMS operates 12 charitable hospitals, with 11 located in Uttarakhand and 1 in Delhi.
SVHMS is currently seeking an experienced Hospital Administration Manager (HAM) to join their team. The HAM will play a pivotal role in managing the administrative operations of Swami Vivekanand Charitable Hospital Dharmawala in Dehradun. This position requires a thorough understanding of hospital procedures, ranging from creating work schedules and liaising with doctors to budgeting, supply management, and ensuring optimal patient care. The HAM will utilize their organizational and leadership skills to supervise employees and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Overall, the Hospital Administration Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the health services and daily activities of the hospital, ensuring smooth operations and the highest standards of care
