The organization has positively impacted the livelihoods of 410,000 households, including vulnerable communities such as tribal and minority groups, women, small and marginal farmers, and artisans.
Grant Description (Grant for Agroecology Program Fund 2025)
ACCESS is managing an investment fund on behalf of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as part of the Investments in Agroecology Value Chain Projects (IAVCP). This initiative is designed to promote agroecology-based value chains by identifying viable business opportunities within agroecology clusters and supporting their growth.
IAVCP provides investment support to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and Producer Organization Enterprises (POEs) through grants, technical assistance, and ecosystem development. The goal is to strengthen their businesses, enhance agroecological practices, and create meaningful benefits for small producers across the value chain.
As part of the GAP Challenge, ACCESS is inviting Concept Notes from eligible enterprises seeking grant investments between ₹100 lakh and ₹200 lakh. These funds will support the establishment or expansion of high-impact business projects within Agroecology Value Chains.
The primary objective of the grant is to integrate agroecology-focused MSEs and POEs into sustainable food systems. Through a competitive grant mechanism, the GAP Fund empowers these enterprises to scale agroecological innovations, address key challenges in their value chains, and build sustainable livelihoods for small producers—all within a commercially viable and environmentally responsible business model.
