Facility Supervisor

As a facilities supervisor you will be is responsible for the overall functionality, maintenance and security of our buildings, grounds & equipments. You will be managing our 5+ school and office buildings across Noida.
Responsibilities of a Facility Supervisor: (NGO Job Opportunity in Noida Uttar Pradesh for Facility Supervisor Last Date 2 August 2025)
- Ensure that all facilities are fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
- Coordinate the maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment, as appropriate, to ensure optimum functionality and conducting proactive/preventive maintenance.
- Identify, assesses, negotiate as necessary, and resolve to build maintenance and usage problems.
- Source, manage and review service contracts.
- Monitor contracts for compliance by performing quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and standards.
- Overseeing the closure of repair & maintenance, projects within the approved budget and control costs.
- Oversee activities of contractors, vendor personnel, and suppliers
- Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work, any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects. Checking installations, servicing of building equipment and all completed work by vendors and contractors.
- Manage the repair maintenance & equipment service budget of the department
- Oversee the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical (including solar plant & backup), fire/life safety, Plumbing and elevators etc
- developing and maintaining a vendor base for a cost-efficient procurement of services and inventory
- Recommend facility design modifications for optimum utilization & cost reduction.
- Assist in maintaining building security; report any security problems to appropriate authority.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Dealing with emergencies as they arise
- Prepare scheduled and periodic reports of facility usage, maintenance, and condition after inspection.
- Planning and preparing the annual budget for maintenance and repair of existing buildings, facilities & equipments.
- To provide long-term comprehensive and integrated physical resource planning for the school, its faculties and departments.
Desired Educational Qualification and Experience: (NGO Job Opportunity in Noida Uttar Pradesh for Facility Supervisor Last Date 2 August 2025)
- 8 -10 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions /Facilities Engineering/ Project management/ Construction management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
- Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, quality control measures and safety precautions related to facilities management.
- Strong procurement and negotiation skills
- Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
- Proactive thinking and Problem-solving skills
- Relationship-building
- Time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task
- a well-defined vendor network
- Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
- Competent writing and communication skills – including the ability to communicate technical information

Facility Supervisor daily duties: Some of the common duties include:
- maintaining the facility and overseeing the daily administrative operations
- instructing team members on the best practices to maintain the properties
- creating and maintaining budgets for maintenance, repairs and contracts
- overseeing the closure of projects within the approved budget
- ensuring coherent availability and utilisation of resources in areas like transport etc
- hiring external professionals for repairs for the building, equipment or machinery
- developing and maintaining a vendor base for a cost-efficient procurement of inventory
- overseeing communication and security frameworks within the facility
- ensuring the property meets local and school-specific safety guidelines
- performing regular inspections to ensure the building is functioning correctly
- managing contracts for various construction and maintenance projects
- negotiating annual maintenance contracts and renewing insurances for maintenance
- maintaining records of the facility, including maintenance bills and payment information
