We are looking for a highly responsible and compliance-driven Finance Manager with deep expertise in FCRA to serve as the assurance and control anchor for all foreign-funded activities. The role is not involved in day-to-day transactional accounting, but rather focuses on verifying, certifying, and assuring that every rupee charged to FCRA funds is accurate, compliant, justified, and properly documented. This role is critical in safeguarding regulatory compliance and program partner trust while enabling mission-aligned program delivery.

FCRA Assurance & Fund Utilization
Independently verify that every rupee spent from FCRA funds is:
- Programmatically valid
- Financially accurate
- Backed by appropriate documentation
- Within the scope of program funding agreements and budgets
- Fully compliant with FCRA definitions and regulations
- Review and approve Utilization Certificates (UCs) before submission to program partners
- Flag deviations or compliance risks and ensure timely corrective action
- Documentation & Audit Preparedness
- Maintain assurance checklists and verification protocols for each transaction
- Ensure robust audit trails for FCRA inspections, statutory audits, and program partner reviews
- Validate statutory filings (e.g., Form FC-4) with fully reconciled documentation
- Internal Controls & Capacity Building
- Develop and implement internal control processes aligned with FCRA guidelines
- Conduct periodic internal audits and reviews of fund usage
- Train internal teams on FCRA compliance requirements and documentation
- Governance & Reporting
- Support the CFO with compliance-related reporting to the board, statutory authorities, and program partners
- Assist with governance reviews and data preparation for meetings and audits
What We’re Looking For

- Chartered Accountant with deep knowledge of the FCRA Act 2010 and Rules 2011 (and subsequent amendments)
- At least 7 years of experience in non-profit financial management, with a strong focus on FCRA compliance and fund assurance
- Solid understanding of statutory audits, program partner compliance requirements, and financial control systems
- Experience in grant utilization reviews, program partner reporting, and audit coordination
