ABN: Ensure your ABN registration is updated to reflect your current regional address. The postcode on your ABN must match your residency.
Status: You must be either:
- an individual,
- an Australian incorporated organisation, or
- a local government organisation.
Unincorporated groups may apply if they are auspiced by an eligible organisation.
Under 18: Applicants under 18 may apply but must be auspiced by an individual over 18 who holds an ABN. The auspice must be an individual, not an organisation.

You are not eligible to apply if you are:
- An unincorporated organisation that is not properly auspiced by an eligible organisation
- A for-profit company
- An individual or organisation based outside regional or remote Australia (see Section 5.2 Eligible Locations)
- An Australian Government or state government entity
(with the exception of schools located in very remote areas — MM 7) - A Regional Program Administrator or an employee directly involved in administering the Regional Arts Fund
- A previous recipient of:
- A Quick Response Grant within the same financial year
- A Project Grant within the same financial year
- Multi-year Project Grant funding for activities occurring in the same financial year

- Your application must demonstrate evidence of community partnerships and show a clear need for the proposed arts activity within a regional community.
