Funding Information for Application Open VM ImPact Community Grants Programme 2026 for Jamaica
Through the VM ImPact Community Grants Programme, the Foundation provides financial assistance to support impactful community initiatives. For the 2026 grant cycle, organisations are invited to submit proposals under the following funding categories:
- Medium Grants: $50,001 – $250,000
- Large Grants: $250,001 – $500,000
Funding Priorities for for Application Open VM ImPact Community Grants Programme 2026 for Jamaica
Priority will be given to community-led projects that demonstrate clear and measurable outcomes. For this cycle, proposed initiatives must align with one of the following focus areas:
- Parenting
- Youth Development
- Community Development, particularly in the following themes:
- Food Security
- Post-Hurricane Recovery and Regeneration
- Climate Resilience

Community Development Focus
We support initiatives that respond directly to local needs and encourage progress in areas such as youth development, parenting, and education. In the 2026 funding cycle, special emphasis within community development will be placed on the following areas:
Food Security:
Priority will be given to projects that improve consistent access to affordable and nutritious food. This includes home, school, and community gardening initiatives that enable communities to grow their own food in a sustainable manner.
Post-Hurricane Recovery and Regeneration:
The Foundation aims to assist communities in rebuilding and revitalising after the severe effects of Hurricane Melissa, with an emphasis on restoring livelihoods and strengthening essential local infrastructure.
Climate Resilience:
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, we support projects that help communities respond to climate challenges through measures such as water conservation, disaster preparedness, and other resilience-building strategies.
Financial Education Integration
To advance financial well-being, the Foundation, in collaboration with the broader VM team, provides financial literacy training to both implementing organisations and the individuals who benefit from their projects.

- The 2026 application cycle will open on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Noon).
- The deadline to submit applications is Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Funding Restrictions
Please be aware that the Foundation does not support funding requests for the following types of activities (the list below is not exhaustive):
- Individual or personal initiatives
- Travel-related or tuition assistance grants
- Ongoing operational expenses such as rent or utility payments
- Beauty pageants, competitions, or event sponsorships
- Political campaigns or activities
- Projects that may harm the environment
- Construction or building projects
