The Agriculture Expert will support planning and implementation of climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture interventions at the field level, ensuring improved productivity and farmer adoption.
Key Responsibilities for NGO Job in Satna Madhya Pradesh for Agriculture Expert Apply By 20 May 2026
- Support implementation of sustainable and climate-smart agriculture practices
- Conduct farmer trainings, demonstrations, and field visits
- Promote improved cropping practices, soil health management, and water-use efficiency
- Assist in development and monitoring of crop plans and seasonal interventions
- Maintain field data, progress reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with farmer groups, FPOs, and community institutions
- Support integration of NRM interventions with agriculture practices
Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture
- Minimum 3-5 years of field experience in agriculture or rural development projects
- Practical knowledge of crop management, soil health, and water conservation practices , FPO
- Experience in farmer training and community engagement
- Ability to work in rural field conditions
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting)
Compensation
- Rs 30,000 – Rs 35,000 per month
