Streams: Choose from three streams — International Development Management (IDM), International Microfinance and Microenterprise (IMM), or Young Professionals in Media (YPM).

Duration: 8-month overseas placement after a 3-week pre-departure training in Ottawa.

Placement Fields: Agriculture, Food Security, Education, Gender Equality, Health, Climate Resilience, Work & Enterprise, and more.

Support: Travel, accommodation, health insurance, vaccinations, and a stipend are covered by AKFC. Successful candidates are required to make a one-time CAD $1,000 contribution.

Applicants can choose between the three fellowship streams:

IDM: Work in health, education, or civil society sectors.
