Call for Applications Changelooms Youth Leaders in Climate Action Cohort 5 by ComMutiny The Youth Collective, Since its inception in 2005, Changelooms—a social entrepreneurship incubation and capacity-building initiative—has supported over 750 young changemakers working on diverse issues across India. The program, designed by ComMutiny – The Youth Collective and supported by ecosystem partner vartaLeap, is further strengthened by Rainmatter Foundation as supporter, Jhini Learning as facilitating partner, and knowledge partners Pravah, Dhriiti, Bindi International, and Wild Tales.
Applications are now open for social change initiatives and organizations to join a three-year leadership journey aimed at nurturing youth leaders to build climate-positive communities.
Interested candidates are encouraged to carefully review the fellowship opportunity and submit their applications before the specified deadline.

Eligibility Criteria

Social Change initiatives/organisations* in existence for at least 6 months as on September 1, 2025, with long-term plans for social change.
Two youth leaders (Founder and Co-Founder/Senior Leader) from each organisation must apply together.
Both youth leaders (Indian citizens) should be between 18-35 years of age with working knowledge of English and/or Hindi.
Must have focused engagement with adolescents/ young people and a deep interest to work in the climate action space.

As a Changeloomer, you will:

Undergo an intensive leadership journey for 18 months followed by an additional 18 months of support to deepen your work.
Get financial support of up to 2 Lakhs.
Visit impactful field sites to gain practical insights.
Receive mentorship from some of the best sectoral leaders from the vartaLeap coalition. 5. Networking opportunities with climate experts and other sectoral leaders.
Get opportunities to amplify your work on national platforms.
