United Nations University Vice-Rectorate in Europe Invites Applications for Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme 2025, The UNFCCC–UNU Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme provides young professionals from developing countries with a rare platform to launch their careers at the intersection of international climate policy and cutting-edge research. Designed to nurture the next generation of climate leaders, the fellowship spans 12 to 24 months, offering hands-on experience within both the United Nations University (UNU) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Selection is merit-based, with candidates chosen for their expertise, academic excellence, and alignment with the evolving priorities of global climate action.

Upon completion of the UNFCCC – UNU Early Career Climate Fellowship Programme, the Early Career Climate Fellows will be able to work in their home countries or internationally, deploying the valuable experience and insights they have gained in Bonn. Academically outstanding young graduates from developing countries who are in the early stages of their career, especially women from least developed countries, are encouraged to apply.

Please kindly note that we are unable to accept unsolicited applications and any applications submitted outside of an open call.
