Overview of the Grants (Apply for ENGIE Foundation Grant 2025)

Since its inception, the ENGIE Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable, with a primary focus on children and young people in need. By funding projects that promote inclusion through culture, education, health, and sports, the Foundation empowers children to build a better future. This commitment aligns with the Foundation’s belief that children hold the key to shaping tomorrow’s world, and equipping them with the energy to act is essential for the planet’s future.

In recent years, the ENGIE Foundation has expanded its mission to address critical global challenges, such as ensuring universal access to energy and preserving biodiversity. These areas, like the support for children, are vital for securing a sustainable future.

Recognizing the increasing frequency of climate-related disasters, such as those in Haiti, the Foundation has allocated part of its budget to provide emergency assistance, separate from its ongoing project partnerships.

Additionally, with global migration on the rise—driven by economic, political, and climatic factors—the Foundation remains committed to supporting migrants and refugees.

Alarmingly, of the world’s 800 million illiterate individuals, 75% are women. This stark reality reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to advancing educational opportunities, particularly for marginalized communities.

Despite facing significant challenges, women are often the driving force behind community development, working tirelessly to improve the daily lives of their families. They are innovators and changemakers who play a pivotal role in fostering sustainable progress.

Recognizing this, the ENGIE Foundation places a strong emphasis on supporting projects where women play a central role, whether it’s through promoting the social inclusion of children or ensuring access to energy for all.

The Foundation continues to fund initiatives led by associations of general interest that align with its key areas of intervention, further empowering women to lead meaningful and lasting change.
