Apply Now For Endangered Material Knowledge Programme (EMKP) Digitisation Grant Program 2026, The EMKP Legacy Digitisation Grant provides funding to digitise existing or “legacy” collections related to material knowledge that is currently endangered or was at risk when the original research was conducted. Legacy materials may include field notes, photographs, negatives, video footage, film reels, audio recordings, and related objects from completed projects. Grants are offered for a period of up to 1 year, with a maximum funding limit of £20,000.

This grant is open to applicants of any nationality. Eligible applicants include individuals affiliated with host institutions, community groups, and organisations. Original creators of the documentation are also welcome to apply to digitise their own previously collected material.
