Call for Application for 4th Sri Sri Awards for Education 2026 India Apply Now, The Art of Living, established in 1981 by globally renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, is a non-profit, educational, and humanitarian organization.
In 1999, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar laid the foundation of the Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir (SSRVM) Trust with the vision of delivering holistic, value-based education that blends the wisdom of the East with the knowledge of the West.
For over 25 years, the SSRVM Trust has been redefining education. With more than 120 institutions, 60,000+ students, and a strong alumni base of over 1 lakh, the Trust has created a transformative impact across all levels of learning—from pre-primary to postgraduate.
Continuing this journey, SSRVM now invites applications for the 4th Sri Sri Awards for Education 2026, recognizing excellence among educators and institutions.

OBJECTIVES

- To recognize and acknowledge excellence, effort and progress in the field of education across educational institutions in India
- To empower and promote institutions that focus on holistic development of students and teachers beyond the parameters of academics and those that deploy the potential of innovative practices and experiments for the improvement of teaching-learning;
- To encourage institutions that involve their parents and other stakeholders in policymaking and its execution;
- To recognize and acknowledge the schools that enable students’ transition smooth from school to a career;
- To felicitate schools that promote ancient wisdom as well modern strategies of 21* Century Skills in students
- To recognise and acknowledge schools that promote spirituality, environment-friendly culture, human values and peace education;
- To honor schools that promote leadership skills, social and emotional development of students.
ELIGIBILTY

Eligibility criteria for School Awards
- Eligibility criteria to apply for the first two awards categories :
- School should be functioning for a minimum period of eight years
- The school must have at least 1000 students
- Schools with Classes from KG1 to Class 10th & above
- The Past Winners (of first two places of any category) of Sri Sri Awards are eligible to apply only after a gap of 3 years of having received the award
- Schools having received the special mention certificates in previous years are eligible to apply for the award.
Eligibility criteria for Best Educator Award
There is no restriction on the size of the school or the age of the school in which the educator has worked or is working. The applicant must have either taught students for a period of ten years or must have significantly contributed to the field of education beyond the role of a teacher. Self nomination is not allowed and a second person’s attestion as a nominator in the application form is mandatory. Any person who has authentic knowledge of the nominee’s contribution in the field of education may nominate the educator for the award by providing the details mentioned in the application form. In order to recognize a larger set of educators, past winners (Best Teacher of N/E/W/S zones in previous years) are not eligible to apply for the second time.
