Call for Proposals Innovation Grants for HIV Prevention in the Caribbean 2026 before the specified deadline to seize this grant opportunity, Despite progress in the Caribbean’s HIV response, key populations (KPs) — including sex workers, men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender people, migrants, people who use drugs, and those in prison — continue to encounter major barriers such as stigma, discrimination, criminalization, gender-based violence, and fear of using public services. These challenges limit access to HIV testing, Pre-Exposure and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP/PEP), comprehensive prevention services, and timely linkage to care.
Community-led initiatives have consistently proven essential in advancing HIV prevention and addressing human rights and gender-related obstacles to services. With support from The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, CVC and COIN, in partnership with PANCAP, are implementing the project “Catalyzing Innovation for HIV Prevention in the Caribbean: A Multi-Country Grant for Equitable and Sustainable Access.”
The Innovation Grants will back practical, locally driven solutions designed to solve real implementation challenges — turning promising ideas into evidence-based models that can be expanded nationally. These grants follow a Results-Based Contracting (RBC1) approach, promoting accountability and allowing organizations to focus more on delivering outcomes than on administrative burden.
Projects must include direct service delivery and clearly demonstrate measurable improvements in access for key populations.
