Why Focus on Ethiopian-Israeli Young Women and Men?
There are approximately 50,000 Ethiopian-Israelis between the ages of 15 and 30. Since the early stages of immigration, this community has been a driving force for integration and positive change. However, many young Ethiopian-Israelis still struggle daily for equal recognition, opportunities, and representation within both their own community and Israeli society.
Empowering this age group is essential:
Their success directly influences the long-term resilience, mobility, and advancement of the entire Ethiopian-Israeli community. Grassroots programs that educate, support, and empower these young people act as catalysts for broad social mobility.
