Libya Call for proposals: Multisectoral response to increase access to basic services for the most vulnerable population in Libya, The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) has launched a grant program aimed at enhancing the well-being of vulnerable groups in Libya, particularly Sudanese refugees and the surrounding host communities. The funding call supports interventions in health, education, WASH, protection, and explosive ordnance risk prevention, with a strong emphasis on local civil society organizations that demonstrate solid operational capacity.
Eligible projects may span up to 18 months and can receive funding of up to EUR 1.6 million. Applicants are expected to coordinate closely with local authorities and/or the Italian Embassy to ensure alignment with national priorities and effective implementation.

- Libyan-registered civil society organizations (CSOs)
- Non-profit entities and Temporary Associations for Purposes (TAPs)
Eligibility Criteria:

- Proven ability to deliver initiatives that align with AICS thematic priorities
- Required approvals from relevant local authorities or the Italian Embassy
- Adherence to all funding ceilings, guidelines, and project implementation rules
Funding Information

Maximum Grant Amounts:
- EUR 1,603,133 for proposals submitted by two or more collaborating non-profit organizations
- EUR 801,566 for projects led by a single non-profit entity

Indirect Beneficiaries:
- Broader groups within the refugee population and Libyan communities
