Manthan Foundation is a non-profit charitable entity that spearheads focused initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of communities in Maharashtra. In 2010, Manthan Foundation was founded with a mission to enhance the health and wellbeing of vulnerable communities and our journey started with the focus on reducing the prevalence of HIV in Maharashtra, specifically among most at-risk populations. These interventions were evidence-driven, systematically planned, rigorously implemented, and monitored. We work primarily in the fields of HIV Prevention and Care, Tuberculosis (TB), Adolescent Health (AH), and Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC).

This program aims to engage with 2000 Female Sex Workers (FSW) over the age of 40 by supporting them in accessing essential documents, government schemes, and services. It will also facilitate early diagnosis and treatment of non-communicable diseases. Participants will form collective groups to discuss their challenges, health and safety concerns, rights, and issues related to violence and harassment, empowering them to address these matters more effectively. Additionally, temporary shelter will be provided to meet their immediate needs, along with plans for long-term housing solutions.

Implementing this program could offer valuable insights into the challenges faced by female sex workers and identify the most effective ways to address their needs.

The Project Coordinator will play the role of implementing, and supporting the initiatives under Project ———.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, supporting the project activities:

• Conduct awareness sessions on non-communicable diseases and social protection schemes etc;
• Perform needs assessment surveys and develop individual support plans for beneficiaries;
• Form and facilitate monthly meetings for FSW groups, providing necessary support;
• Preparing timely reports (monthly/quarterly/annual);
• Supporting in preparing daily/monthly activity plans;
• Build rapport with female sex workers and provide direct services in the community;
• Assist in linking beneficiaries to relevant social protection schemes and referral services.
• The position will require travel within the sites, as per the need.
• Support to the filed staff in program activities.
• Any other work assigned by the Project lead and VP- Manthan Foundation.

• Minimum HSC / Graduate
