Education Qualification:-

- Graduate in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with 3 years’ experience in counselling/education under National Health Programmes.
- OR Postgraduate in the above disciplines.
- For PLHIV candidates: Graduate with 1 year experience in counselling/education under National Health Programmes.
- Desirable: Experience under NASCP at facility/community level.
Knowledge & Skills :-

Job Description:-

- Programme Planning & Implementation
o Identify at-risk populations, plan outreach & IEC activities.
o Coordinate with SACS/District facilities for HIV, STI/RTI, OST, ART, TB services.
o Monitor drugs/commodities, ensure availability.
o Prepare micro-plans, supervise camps, ensure screening (HIV, STI, TB, Hep B/C).
- Monitoring & Reporting
o Supervise field staff, conduct monthly review meetings.
o Ensure timely, quality data reporting in SOCH/IIMS to SACS/NACO.
o Maintain records, document good practices, support programme evaluation.
- Coordination & Advocacy
o Liaise with district administration, NHM, NGOs, social welfare departments.
o Organize advocacy/sensitization workshops.
o Promote convergence of health & social protection services.
- Support to Clients & Other Activities
o Provide counselling (pre-test, post-test, follow-up), psychosocial support.
o Conduct outreach, home visits, family counselling.
o Facilitate referrals (ICTC, ART, STI clinic), risk reduction, condom use.
o Train ORWs in counselling, BCC, and psychosocial support.
