Job Description
(NGO Job in Bihar for Project Coordinator Last Date 15 September 2025)
This position is for the partner organization to facilitate overall project implementation, capacity building, planning, and monitoring of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with CF, CAVE, and Finance teams for smooth implementation of activities.
- Facilitate SHGs, PMC, and PIMC meetings.
- Ensure timely monthly/quarterly/half-yearly progress reporting.
- Maintain effective communication and resource flow between the partner organization and Heifer regional office.
- Consolidate and submit project progress reports.
- Manage and maintain PPMIS (Project Planning and Management Information System).
- Assist in training, farmer field trips, exchange visits, and study tours.
- Motivate and support partner organization team members.
- Conduct case studies, surveys, and field documentation.
- Liaise with local lead banks, MFIs, and government schemes for financial inclusion.
- Maintain database on loan usage and financial services accessed by community members.
Education & Experience

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years’ experience in rural/community development/NGO sector.
- Equivalent education/experience can be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Interest in animal agriculture/community development.
- Proficiency in Hindi, English, and regional language.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet.
- Leadership and team-building qualities.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- High integrity, teamwork, and gender sensitivity.
