About This Role

- Field Coordinator, Programs will be responsible for the implementation of field level activities of ChildFund India’s programs in the assigned geography/area/s. They will be responsible to provide support to the areas of life stage programs, child development and ME KML. They will also provide technical support to the community mobilizers for quality implementation of the programs.
- Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the safeguarding policy and procedures and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with ChildFund’s Safeguarding Policy.
Required Experience and Education

- Graduate/ degree in Social Work / Rural Development.
- 3-4 years of experience in NGO sector, of which minimum of 2 years’ experience of implementing community level activities with supervision from the line manager.
- Strong experience in leading community level implementation and establishing rapport with the local community leaders, ward and municipality level members, district level stakeholders, etc.
- Knowledge of participatory community development approaches.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi and English
- Good computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Willingness to travel to urban slums and interaction with the communities
- Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.
Primary Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support program team in implementation program deliverables on the areas of health/education/livelihood to ensure high impact on children.
- Be responsible for coordinating all activities relating to children at the field level in assigned location/s including communication with children, maintenance of data base of all enrolled children, updating information on the applications of Salesforce, maintaining corporate status on SR systems, files and backup of critical information at the Central/National Office.
- Be responsible for collecting and managing field level data of project activities, support the monitoring and evaluation processes, support reviews and statistical analysis in the assigned location/s.
- Support team in planning, coordinating, and tracking progress against agreed indicators.
- Supervise and provide support to Community Animators / Facilitators in delivering their assigned deliverables. Build capacities of Community Mobilizers on the required areas.
- Ensure application of child friendly tools during consultations and program monitoring.
- Support in networking with relevant government bodies and local organizations, Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender inclusive learning spaces, community-based forums, etc.
- Ensure quality documentation and reporting of the project activities and outcomes.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
