Mobile Creches, (MC) a pioneer NGO, has been operational since 1969, reaching child care and health services to more than 15,000 children every year, through workplace and community based crèches and daycare centres.
MC pioneered the cause of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and focuses on the young child under six years in urban slums and the migrant child, at construction site. MC’s multi-pronged approach- working with construction worker’s children, urban slum communities training and ECD partnership address both the short and long term needs of children. It is officially recognized as a technical resource by the government and is on the path by scaling up with government and other players in civil society.
As an organization, Mobile Creches adheres to a strict safeguarding policy. All staff, volunteers, interns, vendors, consultants etc. are obliged to be aware of the conditions of this policy, be a signatory to this and follow the norms.

Reporting to: Deputy Manager Training
Reported By: None
Qualifications requirement: Master’s degree in ECD/Social Sciences/
Psychology/Education will be preferable
Knowledge in domains of ECCE, social emotion learning, gender, child protection, disability, community participation etc. would be preferred
Total work Experience in the relevant field-Proven work experience in conducting training / workshops development programs in English and Hindi with at least 2-3 years in training related functions.
Job Description- Specific areas of responsibilities are not limited to:

- Organizing & conducting preservice and in-service training of frontline workers and mid- level functionaries–
- Plan, organize, conduct and document training workshops as per agreements with partners/ States and of the MC workers, make training agendas, session plan, syllabus, prepare training materials and deliver quality training. Solve problems in the field during the training.
- Co-develop assessment tools for quality assurance of training and ECCE.
- Prepare and share plans with the department for in-service trainings based on the collective assessment.
- Upgrade training materials and activities to enrich the quality and effectiveness of the training program.
- Participate and support in the development of modules/syllabus, ECE material and training materials.
- Centre set up- Do centre set up efficiently and handhold trainers, frontline workers and midlevel functionaries for the same.
- Quality assurance of MC centres-
- Ensure quality of day care program through field visits and share updates with the concerned departments.
- Provide handholding support to the Supervisors and creche workers during field visits to enhance their ECD knowledge and skills of childcare and creche management.
- Maintenance of training material:
- Renewal/replacement of TLM stock, storage and maintenance of record formats and all other training materials in collaboration with the Supply department.
- Financial management:
- Keep all records of expenses during the training.
- Take cost-saving measures and timely submit information related to expenses etc.

- Conducting ECE training for the frontline workers and mid-level functionaries.
- Proficient in developing and using online training materials.
- Proficient in Hindi and English languages.
- Skilled in making early childhood play materials using locally available and waste materials/ traditional art forms.
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
- Good at using Microsoft office.
- Should be able to deliver training online and in person both.
- Adept at Training management and Facilitation skills.
- Familiar with Participatory training methodology.
- Ability to motivate others and inspire trust.
- Ability to relate with audience at the grass root level.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
- Should be able to travel out of station and stay for 10-12 days for conducting workshops.
