About the project: The project aims at creating change makers within the communities. The capacity building of adolescent girls through trainings, orientations, exposures and other such activities to enhance their understanding & skills about gender, patriarchy and intersectionality. The aim is to create a just and equitable society through an intersectional lens, which provides and encourages equal and fair opportunities of education, livelihood, mobility for these girls. The project also aims at creating an environment within the community, that encourages and supports adolescent girls for completing higher education and gain meaningful capacities.
Job Title: Kishori Mitra
No. of posts: 1 (female candidates only)
Roles & Responsibilities: The Kishori Mitra will be responsible for the field-level implementation of project activities. They will be responsible for the activities within their specific slums.
- Implementation of field level activities with the adolescent girls
- Mobilization & sensitization of community
- Lively rapport with community
- Gather feedback from the community.
- Ensure 100% coverage of all direct members of the girl group in the designated slum.
- Engagement with & mobilization of local stakeholders.
- Document Case studies
Qualification & Experience for Kishori Mitra NGO Job in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh Apply By 10 March 2026
- Graduation in Social Work, Sociology or other related fields
- 2 years’ experience of working with community directly
- Essential- Good communication skills (written & oral)
- Good documentation skills
- Preference for experience in the social sector
- Preference for experience with adolescent girls
- Preference for Computer skills
Remuneration: Rs 17040/- plus fixed travel (Rs 800).
