Function: Program Management & Implementation- MNCH Innovations, HCD Systems Strengthening.
Reports to: Head Office
Location: Shillong
Manages: Supports State-level program team; provides technical coordination across districts
Contract Type: Six months (extendable based on the project requirements)
Hours of work: 48 hrs per week
Notice period: Two months
Holiday entitlement: As per Holiday Chart
Probation period: Two months during which notice period is one month on either side.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities

- Support the State Program Manager in day-to-day oversight of MNCH–HCD project implementation across all districts and blocks.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders and partners.
- Ensure alignment of district/block activities with state strategy, timelines, and project-driven deliverables.
- Review HRP and KMC tools, job aids, reporting formats, and implementation processes before rollout.
- Conduct technical field visits to districts and blocks; provide supportive supervision, problem-solving and on-site mentoring.
- Monitor progress through review of routine data (HMIS, NFHS, MOTHER App, POSHAN, facility and community registers) and synthesize findings for the State Program Manager.
- Facilitate state-level planning, monthly review meetings, and cross-departmental coordination with SHSRC, NHM, ICDS, C&RD and other stakeholders.
- Support capacity building of district and block teams, frontline workers, community platforms (VHCs, SHGs) and ensure quality of training and review sessions.
- Assist with documentation, including progress reports, learning notes, meeting minutes, monitoring summaries, and contributions to knowledge products.
- Identify operational gaps, escalate systemic issues, and support course-correction actions through structured feedback loops.
