Qualification:

Shall be Graduates in Fishery Discipline with minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in fishery promotion along with working experience with fishery cooperatives/ primary fishery cooperative societies. Should be conversant with functional Computer Skills with Strong training and documentation skills Nature of duties:
You will perform to the best of your ability all the duties as are inherent in your post and such additional duties as the organization may call upon you to perform, from time to time. Your specific duties are:
- Report to the Team Leader
- Work in coordination with other Team members.
- Regular field visit for effective guidance to PPs / Farmers on Fisheries interventions.
- Capacity building of CFT (Fishery Facilitator)
- Technical assistance, guidance and monitoring aquaculture activities.
- Implementation of climate resilient Scientific Fish Farming in coordination with DDA Fishery and other field level extension Officers
- Work collaboratively with PPs and other experts.
- Integrating women and vulnerable group of the project area in to fish production.
- Identification of prospective entrepreneurs for establishment of Captive Nursery, Fish Seed Production.
- Demonstration of intensive, semi-intensive and scientific fish farming
- Aquaculture, Supply Chain Management and value chain improvement.
- Provide scientific quality extension services to the fish farmers
- Maintaining database technology used, production, marketing and profit of fish growers.
- Record the best practices and its replication in project area
- Strengthening existing Fishery Cooperative Societies and formation of new Cooperative Societies and their capacity building.
