This 18-month structured fellowship program is crafted to nurture the next generation of development and governance leaders in India. Combining intensive training, expert mentorship, and hands-on placements within central government departments, the program offers participants a unique opportunity to tackle real-world challenges in policymaking, implementation, and public service delivery — ultimately contributing to shaping the nation’s future.

  • Outreach & Virtual Training: Three day virtual policy bootcamp
  • Fellow Selection: Shortlisting from bootcamp and interviews
  • Residential Training: One-month intensive residential training
  • Individual Planning: Fellows develop work plans with mentors
  • Field Placement: Six month immersive engagement with public institutions & departments
  • National Conclave & Closure: Showcase evidence-led solutions to policymakers and receive certification

Who Can Apply?

We’re seeking purpose-driven individuals across three streams:

  • Aspiring Governance Professionals: Postgraduates and recent alumni with strong internships or research background
  • Social Sector Catalysts: Professionals with 3+ years of social-sector experience
  • Corporate Change Agents: Professionals with 5+ years of corporate experience looking to transition into governance and development

Eligibility:

  • Up to 35 years of age (as of 1 Jan 2026)
  • Postgraduate degree in any discipline (public policy, governance, economics, law, social sciences, management, etc.) encouraged
  • Passion for public service, problem-solving aptitude and adaptability in multi-stakeholder settings
