The Deputy Manager – Project will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring project activities related to eye donation awareness, mobile eye health camps, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E). The role involves extensive coordination with NGOs, local bodies, healthcare institutions, and government departments to ensure effective implementation and compliance with government guidelines.
Key Responsibilities for NGO Job in Jaipur Rajasthan for Deputy Manager Apply By 5 January 2025
- Plan and organize eye donation awareness programs, seminars, workshops, mobile eye health camps and other activities
- Coordinate with NGOs, local bodies, educational institutions, hospitals, and community groups
- Coordinate logistics including camp locations, medical teams, equipment, and outreach
- Liaise with government departments for permissions, participation, and support
- Support beneficiary mobilization and community outreach
- Develop activity plans, schedules, and documentation
- Ensure community participation and stakeholder engagement
- Supervise field staff and volunteers during camps
- Prepare and maintain activity/camp-wise reports, photos, beneficiary data, follow-up documentation, and outcomes of awareness activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final progress reports
- Support internal and external monitoring visits and audits
- Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions for project improvement
Additional Responsibilities:
– Frequent field travel for project implementation, monitoring, and coordination
– Regular liaison with government offices for reporting, reviews, and approvals
– Participate in review meetings, trainings, and stakeholder consultations
– Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation
– Any other responsibilities assigned by the Secretary/Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Social Work, Management, or related field
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in health or community-based projects
- Experience in government liaison and NGO coordination preferred
- Knowledge of eye health programs / public health initiatives will be an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
– Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
– Excellent communication and presentation abilities
– Experience in monitoring & evaluation
– Willingness to undertake frequent travel
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities
– Good documentation and reporting skills
