Apply for Lorraine D Eyde Fund Grant 2026, The American Psychological Foundation (APF) is offering grants through the Lorraine D. Eyde Fund, created in honor of psychologist Lorraine D. Eyde, whose career focused on promoting fair, responsible, and ethical use of psychological testing. The program provides two annual grants to support researchers examining how psychological tests can be used more ethically and effectively.
These grants aim to encourage studies that explore critical issues such as privacy and confidentiality in testing, test reliability and validity, fairness in employment testing, development and evaluation of test tools, and the professional qualifications needed to administer psychological assessments. Proposals may also address topics like discrimination and bias in testing, including concerns related to race, gender, and transgender populations, as well as the ways testing may disproportionately affect marginalized or underserved groups.
Applications are welcomed from researchers across many fields where testing has a significant role — including neuropsychology, personality and vocational assessment, educational testing and entrance exams, cognitive ability testing, and related disciplines. The program is flexible and open to a wide range of research ideas connected to psychological testing practices and ethics.
Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the full details and submit their applications before the specified deadline to seize this grant opportunity.
