Call for proposal on Establishment of 2026 Poshan Vatika Under Ministry of Ayush India, The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) under the Ministry of Ayush, through its Central Sector Scheme (CSS) on “Conservation, Development and Sustainable Management of Medicinal Plants,” proposes to extend project-based financial assistance to both government and private organizations. This support aims to facilitate the establishment of Poshan Vatika in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) managed by NESTS, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, across the country.

Aims and Objectives for Call for proposal on Establishment of 2026 Poshan Vatika Under Ministry of Ayush India

1. To establish Poshan Vatika (Nutri-Gardens) within identified EMRS premises by cultivating region-specific fruits, locally available medicinal plants, herbs, and seasonal vegetables, thereby meeting the day-to-day nutritional needs of school-going children.
2. To create awareness among children about different plant species and their nutritional value through Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activities such as quizzes, campaigns, drawing and painting competitions, along with the preparation and wide dissemination of user-friendly literature highlighting nutrition and related benefits.

Eligibility for Call for proposal on Establishment of 2026 Poshan Vatika Under Ministry of Ayush India

• Government Organizations and Non-Government / Voluntary Organizations with demonstrated expertise in the relevant field.

Norms of Assistance

• Eligible organizations will receive 100% financial assistance.
• All other terms and conditions shall remain the same as prescribed under the NMPB Central Sector Scheme (CSS) guidelines and the Poshan Vatika (Nutri-Garden)
