The situation is especially critical in regions like Karamoja and refugee settlements such as Kyaka II, where stunting rates are alarmingly high. Additionally, adolescents and adult women face increasing health risks from anemia and a growing prevalence of overweight and obesity, further intensified by climate shocks, food insecurity, and systemic weaknesses in the food system.
