Job Purpose NGO Job in Satna Madhya Pradesh for Project Officer Social Apply by 30 September 2026
The Project Officer – Social will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring social development and community-based interventions, ensuring effective community participation, timely implementation, quality outcomes, and proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of social development, community mobilization and livelihood activities.
- Facilitate community participation and strengthen village-level institutions and community groups.
- Prepare and track field plans, activities and timelines.
- Monitor field-level progress and ensure achievement of project targets.
- Facilitate training, awareness and capacity-building activities.
- Coordinate with communities, field teams, government departments and other stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, reports and MIS data.
- Support preparation of success stories, case studies and impact documentation.
- Ensure activities are implemented as per project objectives and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Sociology, Social Work, BSW or MSW.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in social/community development projects.
- Strong knowledge of community mobilization and rural development.
- Experience in field coordination, training, documentation and reporting.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and reporting tools.
Compensation
- Salary will be based on relevant experience, qualification and organizational norms.
