Program Structure for 2026-2027 LEAP Emerge Fellowship Application Open
- From August to May, fellows will take part in monthly virtual LEAP leadership development sessions aimed at preparing them for employment after graduation. Each session will last approximately 1–2 hours, with the exact schedule determined based on participants’ class timetables.
- Along with these training sessions, fellows will be matched with multiple mentors throughout the program. They are expected to meet their mentors at least once a month for guidance on resume building, industry insights, and workplace advice.
- During the fellowship, participants will research key issues affecting Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities and collaborate to develop a Community Impact Project that proposes solutions to these challenges.
- Fellows must also complete 30 hours of learning to earn a professional development certificate during the program.

Eligibility for 2026-2027 LEAP Emerge Fellowship Application Open
- Open to college students entering their final year of undergraduate study during the 2025–2026 academic year and seeking entry-level roles or internships after graduation.
- Juniors or fifth-year students in their final year of college are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) and be based in the United States.
- Students of all racial and ethnic backgrounds are welcome to apply.

To apply for the Emerge Fellowship, applicants need to submit the following materials:
- Resume
- Two letters of recommendation

- Responses to five essay questions
- A general outline of your Fall academic schedule and extracurricular activities for the academic year during which the fellowship takes place.
