Through our programs, we engage, educate, and inspire young citizens to actively participate in democracy and realize their leadership potential. CPL focuses on building the capacity of youth so they are prepared to take on meaningful leadership roles in the public sphere.

The CPL Fellowship (Application Open for Citizens for Public Leadership CPL Fellowship Programme 2026)
The Citizens for Public Leadership Fellowship is a 10-month, virtual, part-time program designed to provide comprehensive knowledge in various thematic areas of public policy.
Over the past eight years, CPL alumni have gone on to pursue advanced studies at institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School, London School of Public Policy, Columbia University, School of International & Public Affairs, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, etc. Additionally, we have mentored several alumni in founding non-profits.
The six key pillars that constitutes CPL Fellowship are as follows :
Thought Leadership Sessions : Series of sessions, conducted virtually on weekends on the topic : Politics, Foreign Policy, Social Policy, Climate Change, Gender, Technology, Media, etc. by the experts from national and international space.
Adaptive Leadership Series: This series include discussion on four films illustrating Harvard Kennedy School’s adaptive leadership concepts through real-world scenarios, used for learning and reflection.
Skill shops : Art of Communication, Policy Writing and Advocacy, Policy Memo Writing, Data Visualization, Negotiation Skill shop, etc.
2-Day In-person Policy Conclave in July at India International Centre, New Delhi
Mentorship Program
Capstone Projects : A three month long project that represents the fellows’ academic passion and professional interest. This project serves as the culminating and integrative experience of CPL’s experiential program.
