Application Open for Fully Funded 2025 Taiwan NGO Fellowship Program, this fellowship program—is a fully funded, month-long opportunity designed for NGO professionals to gain in-depth exposure to Taiwan’s vibrant nonprofit sector. This immersive fellowship offers participants hands-on experience and insights into how NGOs in Taiwan operate, collaborate, and create impact.
The program will take place from October 13 to November 7, 2025, and includes comprehensive support for all selected fellows. Coverage includes round-trip airfare, accommodation, meals, and a daily per diem throughout the three-week placement period.

Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID) invites NGO professionals from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Island Region who are passionate about making an impact on the community.
This program offers a unique blend of different experiences, such as working with the Taiwanese NGO according to your professional background, participating in workshops, and connecting with peers and expert Taiwanese NGOs.
Key Program Features (Application Open for Fully Funded 2025 Taiwan NGO Fellowship Program)
NGO Placement:
Fellows will be placed in Taiwan’s NGO according to their professional backgrounds. Fellows will work with the Taiwanese NGO and engage in daily operations for three weeks. Depending on the nature of the NGOs, fellows will engage in event preparation, project management, or fundraising activities.
Capacity building:
Fellows will attend a four-day workshop at the start of the program. The workshop aims at project management, fundraising, and advocacy. Fellows will also visit civil society sites related to Taiwan civil society.
Roundtable event:
Fellows will join a roundtable event on the sixth day of the program. The fellows and Taiwanese NGO professionals will together share their practical experience and up-to-date observations in the field.
Future project collaboration
Fellows will be expected to propose a project draft at the end of the program for future cooperation in their home countries. The program will provide opportunities for fellows and host NGOs to explore the possibility of future cooperation.

Eligibility Criteria (Application Open for Fully Funded 2025 Taiwan NGO Fellowship Program)
NGO professions who are working on : Community development / Environment / Education / Gender / Human rights / LGBTQ / Medical service / Social welfare/ Emergency relief/ NGO platform / Accountability
At least three years of work experience in the NGO sector
Demonstrated professional excellence, independent and self-motivated, able to complete an independent fellowship
(Outstanding applicants from other fields will also be considered.)
Age: 25 to 40 years old
Country of Origin
Southeast Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Leste Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Pakistan
Northeastern Asia: Japan, South Korea, Mongolia
Pacific Island: Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu
Language: Proficiency in written and oral English, and fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Selected fellows will receive comprehensive support throughout the program, including:

Fellowship Quota: A total of 12 fellows will be selected for the 2025 cohort.
