Applications are now open for Youth for Tech Futures (YTF) Fellowship 2025 offered by The Pranava Institute, The YTF Fellowship invites young people from across India to engage in research exploring the intersections of emerging technologies, society, and digital futures through a structured four-month programme.
This initiative will bring together a curated group of ten research fellows aged 18–27, empowering them to lead original, youth-centered studies on how young Indians interact with, navigate, and envision their digital worlds.
Selected participants will gain access to an exclusive two-month academic module, designed and delivered by leading global experts and practitioners from technology, social science, and design disciplines.
The YTF Fellowship is fully funded, offering a substantial stipend throughout the four-month engagement. Fellows who successfully complete the programme will receive a take-home stipend of INR 1 lakh.

What will you Research

Fellows will learn and work across all the thematic pillars of the YDCL, and explore the following questions:
- What are the unique ways in which youth in India are navigating digital technologies?
- How do young people inhabit, explore, and circumvent digital spaces?
- What are youth imaginations of digital futures, and how are they different from our mainstream assumptions?
- Finally, what digital future do young people in India want, and how can we build these futures with them?

Who can Apply?

- 18-27 years of age
- Experience in designing and/or conducting workshops at the grassroots is a bonus
- University Student or
- Early Career Professional
- Prior research work, done as part of university projects or workplace is a plus
- People who have worked with youth communities anywhere in India are preferred
