About (Apply for Changelooms Youth Leaders in Climate Action Fellowship 2025)

The programme is conceptualized and designed by ComMutiny-The Youth Collective, with vartaLeap as the ecosystem partner. The programme is supported by Rainmatter Foundation with Jhini Learning as a facilitating partner and Pravah, Dhriiti, Bindi International, and Wild Tales as knowledge partners.

Inviting social change initiatives/ organisations to join a three-year long leadership journey designed to nurture youth leaders in building climate positive communities.

Eligibility Criteria (Apply for Changelooms Youth Leaders in Climate Action Fellowship 2025)

• Social Change initiatives/organisations* in existence for at least 6 months as on April 1, 2025, with long-term plans for social change.
• Two youth leaders (Founder and Co-Founder/Senior Leader) from each organisation must apply together.
• Both youth leaders (Indian citizens) should be between 18-35 years of age with working knowledge of English and/or Hindi.
• Must have focused engagement with adolescents/ young people and a deep interest to work in the climate action space.
• Unregistered initiatives can also apply

As a Changeloomer, you will:

• Undergo an intensive leadership journey for 18 months followed by an additional 18 months of support to deepen your work.
• Get financial support of up to 2 Lakhs.
• Visit impactful field sites to gain practical insights.
• Receive mentorship from some of the best sectoral leaders from the vartaLeap coalition.
• Networking opportunities with climate experts and other sectoral leaders.
• Get opportunities to amplify your work on national platforms.
