Theoretical Learning Module
Prior to field deployment, Fellows participate in an intensive classroom-based training programme conducted by subject experts. The curriculum includes:
- Understanding Indian Society – Examining India’s political, social, and cultural landscape.
- Political Campaigns & Communications 101 – Core strategies for elections, media management, and voter outreach.
- Understanding Parliamentary Procedures – An overview of legislative functioning and policymaking processes.
- Law and Economics in India – Exploring the linkages between governance, legal frameworks, and economic policy.
Experiential Learning Module
Upon completion of the training phase, Fellows are placed with leading public representatives and institutions, where they gain practical exposure to:
- Preparing inputs for bills, parliamentary questions, and policy deliberations
- Handling social media and political communication initiatives
- Supporting election campaigns and constituency-level strategies
- Undertaking detailed policy research and legislative analysis

- Indian citizenship is mandatory
- Applicants must be 25 years of age or below (born on or after January 1, 2001 for the 2026–27 cohort)

How to apply?
