Your application won’t be saved or submitted until you click “Submit” on the final confirmation page. To ensure a smooth process, we recommend gathering all required materials beforehand. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 4, 2025, at 12 PM ET.
Who is eligible to participate in the (Fully Funded Summer 2025 US Google Public Policy Fellowship Application Open?)
- Be enrolled in or accepted into an accredited institution, including colleges, universities, master’s programs, PhD programs, and undergraduate programs.
- Be eligible and authorized to work in the country of their fellowship placement (Google does not assist with work authorization).
- Be at least 18 years old by January 1, 2025.
- You have not previously participated as a Google Policy Fellow.
Fellowship Details (Fully Funded Summer 2025 US Google Public Policy Fellowship Application Open)
Selected fellows will have the opportunity to collaborate with top public interest organizations in Washington, D.C., tackling key technology policy challenges.
- Full-time Fellows (40 hours/week): $12,000 stipend
- Part-time Fellows (20 hours/week): $6,000 stipend
The Summer 2025 Fellowship runs from June to August, with host organizations deciding whether fellows will work in-person or remotely.

We seek students who:
- Have a strong passion for internet and technology policy.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed by host organizations on a rolling basis. If you are interested in the Google Public Policy Fellowship, apply early as some organizations will have already accepted fellows by the application deadline.
