Why Focus on Equality? Application 2026 is Open for Changemakers for Equality Programme
Equality remains one of the most urgent challenges of our era. Inequality is deeply interconnected and shaped by multiple, overlapping systems that determine who is able to access quality education and skills, secure and dignified livelihoods, safety, healthcare, and meaningful civic participation. A major element of this inequity is wealth disparity—not only in terms of financial resources, but also in access to social capital, influential networks, and decision-making power.
Through this programme, we support young changemakers who confront the structural roots of inequality. We champion practical, community-driven solutions that broaden access and opportunity, encourage collaboration across different wealth backgrounds, and help create pathways toward social mobility and shared prosperity.
What we do Application 2026 is Open for Changemakers for Equality Programme
Find
Over the course of the programme, we will search for, identify, recruit and empower young changemakers aged 18 to 35 who are tackling inequality though tangible, community centered solutions.
We will recruit a first cohort in Asia in May 2026, followed by a second cohort in Sub Saharan Africa in late 2026. In late 2027, we will recruit a third cohort in Latin America.
Support
We help participants thrive and scale their efforts through tailored capacity building, immersive retreats, and a supportive peer community. They also gain cross regional connections and access to mentors, funders, and other supporters. Selected participants receive collaboration funding to deepen partnerships, accelerate their initiatives, and drive collective action across regions.
Connect
Participants connect with other changemakers through a 5-day summit and collective experiences throughout the programme. They will gain access to a wider ecosystem of partners, experts, supporters and collaborators. Last, but not least, they become lifelong members of the global ChangemakerXchange community.
