Introduction: Application Invited for ACC MOWCAP Small Grants Programme 2025, The National Asian Culture Center (ACC), in collaboration with the UNESCO Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific (MOWCAP), has introduced the ACC-MOWCAP Small Grants Programme. This initiative is designed to support libraries, archives, and memory institutions across the Asia-Pacific region that are grappling with economic, environmental, and geographical challenges.
The programme seeks to promote the preservation and open access to the region’s rich documentary heritage, while also raising public awareness about its value and significance. It empowers organizations working to safeguard historical materials, ensuring they remain accessible for future generations.
So far, the ACC-MOWCAP Small Grants Programme has made a noteworthy difference, funding diverse forms of heritage—from palm leaf manuscripts and woodblocks to VHS tapes, newspapers, and stone inscriptions.
