Application Open 2026 herSTART 5.0 for Women Entrepreneurs India, herSTART, an initiative of the Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC), is dedicated to empowering women-led startups by offering resources, mentorship, and a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Established in 2019, the program has successfully completed three editions with the support of central and state agencies and several partner organizations. In 2022, the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the national platform for herSTART, broadening its reach and impact across the country.
The initiative offers up to two years of incubation, access to government grants up to ₹50 lakhs, cloud credits worth up to $100,000, mentorship, and dedicated co-working spaces. herSTART is designed to enable women entrepreneurs and women-led startups to build, grow, and scale sustainable and innovative ventures.

Program Structure
- Bootcamp
- Shortlisted participants will join an intensive bootcamp program, covering key startup topics
- Accelerator
- A series of Expert-led Sessions, complemented by one-on-one mentoring & industry connects
- Residential Program
- An Offline Program will be organised with the cohort startups
- Demo Day
- At last, Cohort members will pitch to a panel of investors to secure funding and gain valuable feedback
