Application Open for AI Opportunity Fund 2025 for Asia Pacific, The AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific is now inviting social impact-driven organisations—both for-profit and non-profit—to join a transformative initiative aimed at preparing workers for the future of work. In partnership with AVPN, and supported by Google.org and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), this program focuses on equipping workers most affected by AI-driven changes with essential AI knowledge and skills.
Selected organisations will customise and deliver AVPN’s foundational AI training curriculum in their local markets over an 18-month period. The goal: to reach underserved and at-risk workers across diverse sectors and geographies in the Asia Pacific region.
The opportunity is open to a wide range of organisations, including:
- Charitable nonprofits
- Public interest groups
- Social enterprises
- Civic institutions
- Municipal bodies
- Labour unions
- Professional associations
In the program’s first phase, the initiative has already:
- Onboarded 10 strategic partners across the region
- Selected 49 local organisations spanning sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and MSMEs
- Provided them with financial support and expert guidance to become local AI training providers
This is more than a training initiative—it’s a movement to create a more inclusive, future-ready workforce in the Asia Pacific.
