With a strong emphasis on inclusive innovation and global impact, the program seeks to advance gender equity and highlight AI-for-good innovations from the Global South. Selected solutions will be featured at the India-AI Impact Summit, scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India, in February 2026.

Identify women-led teams globally working on innovative and impactful AI centric solutions addressing real-world challenges.
Build a Dedicated Support Pipeline
- Establish a dedicated support pipeline for women-led AI innovations, including mentorship, visibility, and post-event scale-up opportunities. Conduct two virtual bootcamps: Responsible AI and Investor Readiness & Pitching Sessions.
Create a Platform
- Create a platform for the top teams (up to 30 globally) to present at the India-AI Impact Summit.
Curate an Exclusive Investor Pitch Session
- Curate an exclusive Investor Pitch Session for these (up to 30 globally) high-potential women-led AI solutions.

The AI by HER Challenge, aligned with the India-AI Impact Summit’s core values of People, Planet, and Progress, aims to spotlight inclusive, ethical, and sustainable AI innovations.
The initiative will honor the top ten teams with a cash prize of INR 25 lakh each, along with global exposure through presentations at the AI Impact Summit, attended by leading policymakers, investors, and industry experts.
The competition unfolds in two stages — an initial application round followed by a presentation round — culminating in a final showcase at the Summit, where up to 30 finalists will present their cutting-edge solutions.
Participants will also receive mentorship, pitch training, and may gain access to cloud credits or collaborative workspace facilities to further develop their innovations.
Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility is open to
- women-led teams or individual women innovators worldwide.
- Applicants may include startups, MSMEs, non-profits, public or autonomous bodies, and academic or research institutions.
- Solutions must be pilot-ready or beyond, under categories “Just Code It” for pilot or prototype stage and “Just Solve It” for deployment or scaling stage.
- Intellectual property remains with the applicants, and all entries must comply with responsible AI practices, data protection, and non-discrimination norms.
