The Ministry of Rural Development Government of India invites citizens to participate in a Logo Design Competition for Viksit Bharat 2026, The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, is inviting citizens to take part in a Logo Design Competition for the “Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB-G RAM G (विकसित भारत – जी राम जी) Act, 2025”.

This Act aims to strengthen rural development in line with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It proposes a legal guarantee of 125 days of wage employment each financial year for every rural household whose adult members are willing to perform unskilled manual work. The initiative focuses on promoting empowerment, economic growth, convergence of development efforts, and widespread coverage to build a prosperous and resilient rural India.

Through this competition, MyGov encourages Janbhagidari (public participation) by inviting creative and innovative logo designs that represent the spirit of inclusive development and rural transformation. The winning design will be officially adopted by the Ministry for its communication and promotional activities.

Participants are encouraged to submit original and meaningful logos that symbolize employment generation, livelihood opportunities, and the broader vision of Viksit Bharat.

Terms & Conditions for The Ministry of Rural Development Government of India invites citizens to participate in a Logo Design Competition for Viksit Bharat 2026

  1. The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, in association with MyGov, invites entries through an open competition to design a logo for the “Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB-G RAM G (विकसित भारत – जी राम जी) Act, 2025.” The objective is to encourage public participation and enhance awareness of the programme.
  2. The competition is open to all Indian citizens. Participation must be individual, and only one entry per participant will be accepted.
  3. Participants must register on the MyGov portal (mygov.in) and ensure their profile details—such as name, email ID, and mobile number—are accurate and complete. Entries from incomplete profiles will not be considered.
  4. The logo submitted must be original and unpublished. It must not violate the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 or infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. Plagiarized submissions will be disqualified.
  5. The logo should represent the core vision of the Act, including empowerment, growth, convergence, and saturation to build a prosperous and resilient rural India. The design may also reflect themes such as water security, rural infrastructure development, livelihood enhancement, and climate resilience.
  6. The design should be simple, creative, and versatile, making it suitable for use across print materials, digital platforms, and mobile applications.
  7. Entries must be submitted in high-resolution digital format (JPEG, PNG, or PDF) with a minimum of 300 DPI, along with a brief concept note of 50–100 words explaining the idea behind the design.
  8. The competition will remain open for 15 days from the date of launch on the MyGov platform. Entries received after the deadline or not submitted in the required format will not be accepted.
  9. All submissions will be reviewed by a committee constituted by the Ministry of Rural Development. Evaluation will consider originality, creativity, relevance to the theme, visual impact, and usability.
  10. The selected winner will receive a prize as determined by the Ministry. The Ministry’s decision will be final and binding, and no further correspondence regarding the selection process will be entertained.
  11. The winning participant must provide the original open-source file of the logo when requested.
  12. The selected logo will become the exclusive intellectual property of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The Ministry reserves the right to use, adapt, modify, or reproduce the logo for official purposes.
  13. Once selected, the participant will not retain any intellectual property rights over the logo.
  14. Entries must not include any objectionable, offensive, or inappropriate content. Such submissions will be rejected.
  15. Winners may be asked to permit the use of their name and details for publicity on MyGov or other official platforms.
  16. Winners will be notified via email or announced on the MyGov platform. No communication will be made regarding entries that are not selected.
  17. The Ministry reserves the right to reject any entry that does not meet the specified criteria or is considered unsuitable.
  18. The Ministry may cancel, modify, or amend the competition or its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants are advised to check the MyGov platform for updates.
  19. The Ministry and MyGov will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition.
  20. By submitting an entry, participants agree to comply with all the terms and conditions stated above.
