JOB SUMMARY (Community Mobilizer NGO Job in Nandurbar Maharashtra Last Date 15 June 2025)

The role involves engaging with community members, parents, and local leaders to identify educational challenges and collaboratively plan interventions that address issues such as foundational literacy, early childhood education, and girls’ education. It emphasizes building strong partnerships with schools, NGOs, and local authorities to improve infrastructure, teaching practices, and community ownership of schools while empowering stakeholders through training and awareness programs. Regular data collection, advocacy for education, and efforts to reduce drop-out rates are key to ensuring sustainable improvements in access to quality education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Community Mobilizer NGO Job in Nandurbar Maharashtra Last Date 15 June 2025)

• Engage with community members, parents, and local leaders to understand the educational challenges and needs of the area.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify factors affecting access to education.
• Involve the community in decision-making and planning for education interventions.
• Build strong partnerships and collaborate with schools, teachers, and school management committees to improve school infrastructure and teaching practices.
• Foster relationships with local organizations and NGOs to leverage resources and support for education initiatives.
• Facilitate active involvement of parents in their children’s education and encourage community ownership of schools.
• Develop and implement LAMP to address specific challenges, such as FLN, ECE, promoting girls’ education, improving attendance, or enhancing learning outcomes.
• Organize workshops, training sessions, and extracurricular activities to enhance students’ academic performance and life skills.
• Support teachers in adopting innovative teaching methods and classroom management techniques.
• Regularly collect data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Advocate for the importance of education within the community and highlight the benefits of education for individuals and society.
• Raise awareness about the rights of children to receive quality education and work towards reducing school drop-out rates.
• Collaborate with local authorities to ensure that education policies and initiatives are aligned with community needs.
• Support to conduct training sessions for teachers, parents, and community members on educational best practices, child rights, and child protection.
• Empower stakeholders with knowledge and skills to actively support and enhance the educational experience of children.

Any Graduate (A bachelor’s degree in education, social work, community development, or a related field is preferred)
