About This Role (Field Coordinator NGO Job in Pune Apply by 1 May 2025)

Field Coordinator, Programs will play a key role in supporting the execution of activities and initiatives aimed at addressing Online Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of Children (OSEAC) within the framework of the project. Working closely with the project team, the incumbent will contribute operational support to ensure the successful implementation of OSEAC interventions at the project level

Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with ChildFund’s Child Safeguarding Policy

Required Experience and Education (Field Coordinator NGO Job in Pune Apply by 1 May 2025)

 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Child Rights, Development Studies, Human Rights, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in child protection, social development, or related fields, with a focus on addressing issues related to online sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child rights, child protection frameworks, and relevant legislation, particularly in the context of online safety and digital literacy.
  • Demonstrate experience in project planning and execution and showcase strong experience working with government stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with team and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations

Primary Responsibilities (Field Coordinator NGO Job in Pune Apply by 1 May 2025)

  • Support the development and refinement of operational plans, workflows, and timelines for OSEAC prevention and response activities in coordination with the Trainer and Sr. Officer, Field Program.
  • Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of workshops, training sessions, meetings, and other project events, including venue booking, participant coordination, and resource mobilization.
  • Collaborate with SCPCRs, government agencies, civil society partners, schools, and other child protection duty bearers to facilitate the establishment of pilot intervention sites and the implementation of OSEAC-related initiatives at the community level.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including activity schedules, attendance registers, financial records, and procurement files, in compliance with organizational policies and requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for project-related communications, including drafting correspondence, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and managing email correspondence and telephone inquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of project-related materials, including reports, presentations, and communication resources, to enhance stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with the Trainer in the execution of training for different stakeholders and organizing community awareness programs.
  • Regular periodic meetings with different stakeholders like teachers, ASHA workers, PRI, VLCPC etc.
  • Undertake any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Specialist Program and Sr. Officer, Field Program- OSEAC to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of project activities.
