Jan Swasthya Sahyog was founded in 1996 by a group of doctors trained at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi and other reputed medical institutions. Different health professionals and health workers joined over time and the organization’s span expanded to encompass a 140-bed hospital cum training center, a community health program in 72 forest and forest-fringed villages, a nursing school for tribal girls, a postgraduate training center for family medicine and general surgery, a well-equipped public health laboratory, first in-state blood storage unit, an ayurvedic formulation manufacturing unit, an appropriate technology laboratory, a program to improve nutrition levels, livelihood, agriculture and animal health and a health system strengthening unit working with the government. Apart from this, there has been significant direct and indirect involvement at policy levels from our end to make healthcare more accessible for the rural poor. The referral center for clinical services and offices of most of these programs are based in a village named Ganiyari in Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh. Another area of JSS work involves working with like-minded persons to learn lessons from work-action Research to address issues important for the rural poor.

We seek a qualified physiotherapist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients with a variety of conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Mandatory Requirements: (Physiotherapist NGO Job in Chhattisgarh Apply by 30 April 2025)
- Qualification: A degree in physiotherapy or a related field. (BPT or MPT)
- Other Requirement: Registration with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong manual therapy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal and neurological problems.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and other modalities.
- Educate patients about their condition and empower them to manage their care.
- Developing standardized protocols for specific conditions like Avascular necrosis of the hip.
- Train health workers in the standardized protocols and mentor them.
- Intermittent meetings with patients in the village or at different govt hospitals.
