Should have worked with a large manufacturing organisation as a welfare officer.
FMCG, Chemical, Pharmaceutical etc. Should have handled manpower strength of over 500 on roll and casual labour over 2000+ employees.

Core Duties and Responsibilities of a Welfare Officer:

Serve as a communication link between workers and management.
Maintain healthy industrial relations and resolve grievances promptly.
Advise on labor policy and ensure implementation of welfare measures.
Oversee workplace facilities (sanitation, medical, dining, childcare, etc.).
Monitor health, safety, and prevent sexual harassment at the workplace.
Provide counseling and support for workers’ mental well-being.
Conduct training and awareness programs on safety and legal compliance.
Keep records of welfare activities and promote a positive work culture.
