Job Title: Manager – SRO

No. of positions: One (1)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Reporting to: Vertical Head – SRO

  1. Background

Microfinance Industry Network (MFIN) is the primary representative body and the Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) for NBFC-MFIs (Non-Banking Finance Companies – Microfinance Institutions) regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). MFIN Members are RBI regulated entities comprising the Non-Banking Financial Companies – Microfinance Institutions (NBFC-MFI), Banks, Small Finance Banks, NBFCs, Banking Correspondents, Credit Bureau, Fintech companies, among several others.

The core areas of work for MFIN are Self-Regulation, Advocacy & Development, State Initiatives and Communications. MFIN works with the broader financial inclusion ecosystem to ensure that its members and the microfinance industry can optimize their potential to achieve the financial inclusion agenda.   1. Key Roles and Responsibilities for NGO Job in Gurugram Haryana for Manager SRO Apply by 15 June 2026

  • Work with Vertical Head (Self-Regulation & Compliance). This would require involvement in

o Collecting and analysing data from MFIN members to facilitate adherence to regulations and guidelines.

o Collaborating to create appropriate content and dissemination through reports/ research documents/ presentations/ audio-visuals.

o Participating in time bound projects including project planning, execution, monitoring of activities, coordinating with project partners etc.

o Capacity building through webinars, workshops, training programmes and relevant content creation.

o Undertaking visits to existing MFIN Members/Associates for knowledge dissemination, promoting/explaining various MFIN initiatives, fact finding, evaluation, capacity building, etc.

  • Stay up to date on the latest developments in the financial inclusion space and microfinance including regulatory and policy changes, innovations and best practices, nationally and globally
  • Any other work that is deemed necessary from time-to-time
  1. Required Qualification and Competencies:

Core:

Qualification, Work Experience & Knowledge:

Essential:

  1. Masters in Management, development studies, economics, public policy (or any relevant discipline) with a sound academic track record.
  2. Three to five years of relevant professional experience in a financial services organization or an industry body/policy think-tank.
  3. Understanding of financial services/financial inclusion space.
  4. Interest in technology

Desirable:

  1. Experience of engaging with corporate sector, development sector institutions & policy makers.
  2. Exposure to financial services/ financial inclusion space.
  3. Qualitative/quantitative research experience

Skills and Abilities:

Essential:

  1. Strong Interpersonal skills
  2. Ability to work in teams
  3. Project planning and execution
  4. Report drafting and analytical skills
  5. Adequate competence on written and spoken English
  6. Experience with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  7. Willingness and ability to travel
