Register for The Literary Arts Fund 2026 in United States of America (USA), The Literary Arts Fund will invest at least $50 million in the nonprofit literary arts sector over the next five years, with funding continuing through 2031. The initiative is designed to strengthen organizations that play a vital role in supporting creative writers and expanding access to literary works.

Given its limited funding period, the program focuses on areas where it can make the greatest impact. Priority is given to independent U.S.-based nonprofit literary arts organizations whose primary mission is to support adult writers of creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and hybrid literary works by helping them create, publish, and share their work with readers.

To support the sector, the Literary Arts Fund will open annual funding rounds under two grant categories:

  • Innovation Project Grants – for new ideas, creative initiatives, and projects that strengthen the literary arts ecosystem.
  • General Operating Grants – to provide flexible funding that supports an organization’s ongoing operations and long-term sustainability.

Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the full details and submit their applications before the specified deadline to seize this grant opportunity.

Last Date of Submission: 17th August 2026
