Entitlements for Application for Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2026 Shri Lanka
- Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,25,000 as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist.
- In addition, funding of up to ₹10,00,000 per year will be provided for research-related expenses for a maximum duration of two years, subject to proper justification.
Eligibility Criteria for Application for Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2026 Shri Lanka
- The applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka and currently residing in the country.
- Must be registered in the STMIS database of the National Science Foundation and be committed to conducting full-time research.
- Should hold a PhD from a recognised university, obtained within the last two years.
- Must demonstrate a strong background in research, development, and innovation, supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals, patents, or similar achievements.
- The proposed research project should address a nationally relevant priority area and be of high merit.
- The duration of the proposed research must not exceed two years.
- Applicants must have access to adequate laboratory facilities at the host institution, along with a formal assurance from the Head of the Institution.
- If such facilities are not available at the host institution, confirmation must be provided by another institution willing to offer access to the required infrastructure.
- Having a collaborator from a relevant industry sector will be considered an added advantage.
